Second Annual RCRCA Photo Contest

The second annual RCRCA photo contest was another success. We received 42 photos from 16 different people. This was down from last year. We knew the number of photos would be down since we limited submissions to three photos per person. What was surprising was the decline in participants, given that this contest ran for 9 months rather than 3-4 months that the first contest ran. We encourage everyone to enter the contest. Some people may have thought that they don't have a chance of winning or have good enough equipment. Don't believe it!! Anyone can win, six of the ten winners this year were first time winners and of those six, four had entered the previous year but didn't win. The third annual photo contest runs from May 1, 2007 to February 1, 2008. This will give participants multiple seasons and more opportunities to get out and take pictures. Check back to the regular "Photo Contest Info" page this spring to see what changes have been made for the upcoming contest.
