Last year RCRCA purchased 2 kayaks for the river trips. Here is a page with more information about the kayaks, some photos and a link to the kayak manufacturer.
RCRCA will be hosting our 2008 annual canoe trips down the Redwood and Cottonwood Rivers.
The
Cottonwood River Canoe Trip will be held on
Tuesday, June 17th 2008.
We will meet south of Essig at the Cottonwood River canoe access on County Road 11 and canoe into Flandrau State Park, New Ulm.
The
Redwood River Canoe Trip will be held
Thursday, June 19th 2008.
We will meet at Perk's Park on Lake Redwood and bus up to the starting point, where the Redwood River crosses CR 6, and canoe to Redwood Lake in Redwood Falls.
