RCRCA purchased 2 kayaks for the river trips. Here is a page with more information about the kayaks, some photos and a link to the kayak manufacturer.
Any people interested in participating in the RCRCA Annual Canoe trips should contact the RCRCA offices and sign-up (even if you have your own canoe). You should also download and/or print off a copy of the "Informational Flyer" located below, as well as printing out a copy of the map for your selected trip(s).
Liability waivers must be signed for each participant. You may print, sign and bring a liability form with you to the event or sign a form at the event. Minors under 18 must have a parent or guardian sign off on their waiver & thus should print and bring a signed form with them, unless a parent or guardian will be present to sign a waiver prior to the start of the trip.
RCRCA will be hosting our 2012 annual canoe trips down the Redwood and Cottonwood Rivers.
The
Cottonwood River Canoe Trip will be held on
Tuesday, June 19th 2012.
We will meet south of Essig
at the Cottonwood River
canoe access on County Road
11 and canoe into
Flandrau State Park, New Ulm.

The
Redwood River Canoe Trip will be held
Thursday, June 21st 2012.
We will meet at
Perk's Park on Lake Redwood and bus up to the starting point, where the Redwood River crosses CR 6,
and canoe to Redwood Lake
in Redwood Falls.
